Ingredients

  • 2 lb shrimp (13-15 to a pound), peeled and deveined
  • 15 bacon slices, cut in half
  • 1 tbsp BBQ seasoning
  • cup canola oil

Bad to the Bone Aioli

  • 1 tbsp Common Man Bad to the Bone spice
  • 1 clove garlic, grated on a microplane
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Thaw and drain the shrimp well. Remove tails.
  • Toss the shrimp with oil and seasoning.
  • Lay bacon strips across your work surface. Wrap each half bacon slice around a shrimp, overlapping at the bottom curve.
  • Stick the chopstick through the shrimp where the bacon overlaps. Place three shrimp per chopstick.
  • Preheat grill. Grill shrimp until bacon is crisp on both sides, and shrimp is cooked through.
  • To make the aioli, whisk all ingredients together in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on the side or drizzled on top.
