Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Bad to the Bone Aioli
Fire up the grill and make extra of these bad boys at your next cookout. They'll go fast!
Equipment
- chopsticks or skewers
Ingredients
- 2 lb shrimp (13-15 to a pound), peeled and deveined
- 15 bacon slices, cut in half
- 1 tbsp BBQ seasoning
- ⅓ cup canola oil
Bad to the Bone Aioli
- 1 tbsp Common Man Bad to the Bone spice
- 1 clove garlic, grated on a microplane
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Thaw and drain the shrimp well. Remove tails.
- Toss the shrimp with oil and seasoning.
- Lay bacon strips across your work surface. Wrap each half bacon slice around a shrimp, overlapping at the bottom curve.
- Stick the chopstick through the shrimp where the bacon overlaps. Place three shrimp per chopstick.
- Preheat grill. Grill shrimp until bacon is crisp on both sides, and shrimp is cooked through.
- To make the aioli, whisk all ingredients together in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve on the side or drizzled on top.
