The Common Man restaurant in Merrimack, N.H. is located in the former Hannah Jack Tavern, an historical building dating back to 1794 that was once the home of Matthew Thornton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Opened in 2005, the Common Man Merrimack serves the same American fare with New England flair as our other Common Man locations. From our Nantucket Stew, to our country meatloaf, to our delicious Uncommon Baked Apple dessert - if it's comfort food you crave, we've got it! Looking for something lighter? Try our Uncommon Salad and a cup of Lobster Corn Chowder.

Enjoy dinner in our dining room, or upstairs in our Bar 'n grill, complete with cozy couches, complimentary cheese and crackers and parlor games. Our Mac and Cheese pizza cooked fresh in our Bar 'n grill is getting rave reviews, and was highlighted on Boston's Phantom Gourmet television program.

We can also host private functions for up to 24 people, whether a business dinner, family party, or other event. Please call for details and availability.

The Common Man Merrimack serves dinner daily beginning at 5 p.m., and opens at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Our Bar 'n grill offers lighter fare from 4 - 11 p.m. nightly, and opens at noon on Sundays. Join us for a hearty brunch from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. every Sunday. Complimentary valet parking is provided to our guests.
