Webster Place Center

When Common Man owner Alex Ray heard a large, historic property in Franklin, N.H., the former homestead of Daniel Webster, was in danger of being razed for development, he took a course of action to save it.

Alex purchased the property in 2007 with conservation easements, and refurbished the long-vacant buildings. He created a non-profit, residential treatment facility called Webster Place Center, to assist those struggling to overcome alcohol and other drug abuse and dependence.

It is his vision, compassion, investment and courage that has brought professionals together from all areas to create this center and make a difference in the lives of all who go to Webster Place Center seeking a place of healing and hope.
