Our front of the house star for March is Kathy Dargin of C-MAN Merrimack.  GM Lisa Saitz says Kathy’s inherent ability to WOW our guests is amazing. 

“Kathy treats every customer like royalty. With her warm, sincere smile, she begins our guests’ dining experience at CMM by ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.  Kathy is often seen searching for an extra seat cushion, running up to the bar to get different dips, or simply searching for a crayon. 

These tasks in themselves are not exceptional. What makes them superb is the customer never needs to ask.  Kathy anticipates what will please the customer. Whether its searching the restaurant (or even going through the trash) at the end of the night to find something a customer lost, running outside to give the valet a customer’s ticket, or finding an extra chair for the customer waiting in the lobby, Kathy does it all with enthusiasm and kindheartedness.”

Eddie Lonergan of C-MAN Lincoln wins the back of the house “Now You’re Cookin’ Award”.   GM Caroline Lyons says some people may find this nomination strange, as Eddie is their lead bartender. But, she says, on the Thursday before Easter, when CML tripled the previous year’s number, Eddie was their most valuable player.

“He came to work that night as a customer, out to dinner with his family.  When he found out the wait was 45 minutes, he jumped into dish land, rather than relaxing in the lounge. He made salads, desserts, and even expo’d food for the wait staff. Even when the rush was over, he stayed to help finish the dishes.

Eddie never got dinner that night, but every member of the staff said we couldn’t have done it without our favorite bartender, or if Tommy has his way, our newest dishwasher."
